Hochschul-Sozialwerk Wuppertal as a provider of the survey and responsible body takes the obligation to privacy very seriously. For this reason, we have designed this survey and the related business processes in such a way that as few or as few personal data as possible are collected or processed.

Purpose of processing and legal basis

By conducting surveys, Hochschul-Sozialwerk Wuppertal wants to evaluate the satisfaction with its offers and services. Your participation in the survey is basically possible without any indication of personal data and, of course, is also voluntary.
However, if you wish to use special features in the survey, personal data processing may be required. If the processing of personal data is required and there is no legal basis for such processing, we request your consent before recording, processing or using your data at the latest.

Personal data

Personal data such as e.g. name, address, telephone number or e-mail address will not be recorded by us, unless this information is voluntarily provided by you, e.g. because you want to get a reply on your feedback and therefore provide your contact details. We use your voluntarily provided data solely for the purpose for which you have given us these. The processing and use of your personal data takes place according to the provisions of the GDPR.

Your privacy rights (information, rectification, deletion, blocking, opposition, data portability)

You have the right to obtain indication under Article 15 of the GDPR, the right to a rectification under Article 16 GDPR, the right to request cancellation under Article 17 GDPR, the right to block the processing of your data under Article 18 GDPR, the right to object under Article 21 GDPR and the right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR.
With regard to the right to obtain indication and the right to request cancellation, the restrictions under §§ 34 and 35 Data Protection Adaptation and Implementation Act EU (DSAnpUG-EU) apply.
In addition, there is a right of appeal to a competent data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 DSGVO i.V.m. § 19 DSAnpUG-EU).
Any consent granted in the processing of personal data may be withdrawn at any time from the responsible office. This also applies to the revocation of declarations of consent issued to the Hochschul-Sozialwerk Wuppertal prior to the validity of the General Data Protection Regulation, ie before 25 May 2018. Please note that the revocation only works for the future. Processing that occurred before the revocation is not affected.
As a processor, NETQUES will only store your data on behalf of and at the direction of the Hochschul-Sozialwerk Wuppertal. To exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and blocking, please contact the responsible department directly. If you contact NETQUES with these requests, NETQUES will forward your request immediately to the Hochschul-Sozialwerk Wuppertal.

Collection, processing and use of access data

The survey web server collects and stores so-called server log files information that your browser automatically transmits. These are:

   Browser type / version
   used operating system
   Referrer URL (the link to our page)
   Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
   Time of the server request.
This is exclusively data that is technically necessary to correctly deliver the survey you have requested and is mandatory when using the Internet. They are also necessary for the operation, maintenance, protection and monitoring of the proper functioning of the system. In case of misuse, the server log files are used to create evidence to be provided by us. In case of error, these logs are used to make technical improvements. We only use this data if necessary and only for the protection, maintenance and to ensure the proper operation of the system. The data from the server log files are not assignable to specific persons. The server log files will not be merged with opinion data, nor will there be any statistical analysis, the data will be stored for a period of 7 days and used exclusively for the above-mentioned purposes. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) DSGVO. The processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of the controller because the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require the protection of personal data do not prevail.

Collecting general statistical information

In addition to the survey data you submit by selecting response options or comments, we also collect the following information to obtain general survey respondents:

   Date of survey participation
   Start and end time of questionnaire processing
   Processing progress
   used device (clustered in the categories iPad / iPhone / Android / Desktop)
This data is linked to your answers and stored indefinitely, but of course no conclusion can be drawn to your person. Its use is solely for the purpose stated above.

Use of cookies

Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer and stored by your browser. They contain the information as to whether and when you have already participated in a survey. This questionnaire uses session cookies as well as persistent cookies. Session cookies are cookies that are stored on your computer only for the duration of an Internet session, persistent cookies remain stored for a longer period of time and register repeat participation within half a year. The use of cookies is solely for the purpose of survey control.

Disable cookies

You can always opt out of saving our cookies by changing your browser settings so that cookies are either always rejected or you are prompted and asked each time a cookie is to be stored. The help function of most web browsers explains how to change these settings. However, if you choose to disable cookies, this may result in some questionnaire features not being fully exploitable. We therefore recommend that you leave the cookie functions turned on.

Profiling

The collected data of this survey are not used to make fully automated decisions with conclusive interpretation. Profiling does not take place.

Use of analysis programs

In this survey, we do not use analysis programs, such as Google Analytics or similar.

Status of survey data

We only use the data provided by you for the satisfaction evaluation. Transfer, sale or other transmission of personal data or opinion data to third parties does not occur.
The transfer of personal data to state institutions and authorities will only be within the bounds of mandatory national legislation or where disclosure is required in law or law enforcement in the event of network infrastructure attacks.

Storage time

Your survey data is stored indefinitely and serves for a long-term satisfaction evaluation. If you provide contact information, we will save your personal information for a period of 180 days to contact you and then delete it. Your survey data will be anonymized upon deletion and stored indefinitely as described above.

Safety

All survey data is encrypted and transmitted over the Internet. We secure our questionnaires and all other systems through technical and organizational measures against access, loss, destruction, alteration or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons. Despite regular, careful controls, full protection against all dangers is not possible.
